The SM2 machine was designed for shelling pomegranates. The fruit is manually cut in half and loaded into the two processing heads. A mechanical system moves a lever which intermittently hits the fruit, detaching the kernels from the peel.
The machine has a stainless steel structure. All components are easily changeable; all parts in contct with the fruit are made in food-approved material. It is designed for simple and fast cleaning and maintenance.
The machine is made according to 2006/42/EC regulations and following.
